Request Workflow
How requests flow through your team.
Default Statuses
Example: New → In Progress → Completed
Each project can customize statuses (names, colors, and order).
Status Transitions
New
Request just arrived. Not yet triaged.
Actions:
- Assign to team member
- Set priority
- Break into work items
In Progress
Work has started.
Actions:
- Add comments/updates
- Create work items
- Link to issues
Completed
Request fulfilled and closed.
Actions:
- Archive if needed
- Generate summary
Custom Statuses
Create project-specific statuses:
- Go to Project Settings → Statuses
- Click Add Status
- Set name, color, and position
- Drag to reorder
Automation
Status changes can trigger:
- Slack notifications — Team and clients
- Email alerts — Assignees and watchers
- Webhooks — External systems
Bulk Actions
Select multiple requests to:
- Change status
- Reassign
- Update priority
- Add tags
